The WSRA is a non-profit corporation created under The Non-Profit Corporations Act of Saskatchewan. The WSRA takes great pride in representing the seasonal residents of Waskesiu and working with other organizations dedicated to the protection and enhancement of Waskesiu in Prince Albert National Park. Waskesiu Community Council
The Waskesiu Community Council is democratically elected to represent your views to Parks Canada. It assists Prince Albert National Park in establishing practices for the operation of Waskesiu. Our council operates under the terms of a Memorandum Of Understanding outlining responsibilities to you and to Parks Canada. More information >
Waskesiu Heritage Museum Inc.
The Waskesiu Heritage Museum displays the human history of Waskesiu Lake and Prince Albert National Park since its 1928 creation. It features an original canvas-roofed shack tent and a replica camp kitchen from the early days in Waskesiu. Other outdoor exhibits include a fire tower cupola, a portable cabin and shed fondly known as a dog house, a railcart portaging a canoe, and wash day equipment. Lobstick Golf Club
The Lobstick Golf Club is represented by a Board of Directors that is associated with the Waskesiu Golf Course, one of the oldest golf courses in western Canada. More information >
Friends of Prince Albert National Park
Friends of Prince Albert National Park is a volunteer, charitable, non-profit organization made up of individuals, organizations and businesses dedicated to the stewardship of the natural and cultural resources of Prince Albert National Park. The 'Friends' promote public understanding, appreciation and enjoyment of the national park. Their goal is to protect and promote a sustainable, healthy ecosystem. More information >
Waskesiu Recreation Association
The Waskesiu Recreation Association is a non-profit corporation. It is responsible for recreation facilities, recreation activities, and cultural events in the community. The building near the tennis courts houses the Waskesiu Recreation Association and its staff. The Association undertakes, and maintains, recreation facilities and activities in that area (including equipment rentals, etc.), and assists in the prominent events that have made Waskesiu a destination for many.
Waskesiu Fire Department
The Waskesiu Fire Department provides fire and rescue services to the Prince Albert National Park which includes the community of Waskesiu. The Fire Department consists of a Fire Chief, Captains and Firefighters. More information >
